I can't find an image of it but Elizabeth is on the cover of this book with a soccer/football ball. I'd like to point out how many sports Elizabeth and Jessica seem to play for one book and then never do again. There was a softball team in SVT and cross country running in SVJK and volleyball in Team Sweet Valley. I mean, if Liz was a good soccer player how come she didn't have more in common with Jeffrey French?
Also, I'd like to further point out that Liz's top is tucked into her gym shorts. That's just... not a good look on anyone. I think that deserves a penalty of some sort.
The back of the book tells me that Liz is goalie and she got hit with a ball and now she's afraid of being goalie. Dear Lord, please let Liz get hit in the head/face/anywhere really during the course of the book. I swear I won't ask for anything else for Christmas. Amen.
( Todd can't score on Elizabeth! )

In the last year or so, I would get very sneezy and my throat would itch every time I came home to my parents'. I started to wonder if there was something at home that I was allergic to.
In May, in the two weeks I was living at my parents' before I moved to NYC, in addition to sneezing and having an itchy throat, I would also feel ... not quite nauseous, but definitely an ill kind of feeling if I was standing for more than a few minutes. I would feel better after lying down for a bit.
This went away when I moved to New York.
And now, it's starting up again and I'm not happy about it. I hate feeling crappy like this. It makes me want to not do anything, not even go out, although going outside my parents' house might be what I *should* be doing.
Unfortunately, I don't have Kaiser insurance anymore (just my Columbia health insurance), otherwise I would be going to get tested to see what I might be allergic to, because I'm pretty sure it's something in the house that I'm allergic to. I just hope it isn't Bibi, because that would be really sad. I need to go for a physical at some point when I get back to New York, so I might ask to get tested for allergies then. Just so I know, and maybe take something the next time I come home.

2009 was an amazing year in theatre, from my first NYC trip of the year in January with Mark, to my LA / Vegas trip with him in November - our theatre experiences were incredible! Below is a list of the shows that I saw throughout the year (If you click on the show titles, it will take you to individual posts throughout the year of the shows, photos at the stage door, etc.) :)
( My Year End Theatre Wrap Up - 2009 )
Whew! That took me almost 3 hours to compile... :P I really need to keep up throughout the year so it isn't such a hassle in December! But, yeah,... I say that EVERY year!! :P

Ugh, pardon my absence recently. I've been battling an awful cold, the main symptoms being a very sore throat and a bad cough, and have just been feeling very drained. I get out of breath easily because it's messing with my asthma. The cough is getting better *knocks on wood* but the rest of it is still annoying me.
Enough of my complaining. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends, and that Santa was generous to all. I got some great gifts and spent a lovely few days with my family, it was quiet but very pleasant. We all definitely felt the strangeness of my aunt not being with us, but she was with us in spirit and we wished her Merry Christmas all the same. Now a week of semi-normality before New Year, I'm really looking forward to a fresh start in 2010.
Dragging my tired body off to bed with one of my new books now. Love and hugs to you all. ♥ ♥ ♥
